Milligan Named UF Dana Chair

Sept. 15, 2005, Findlay, Ohio– The University of Findlay has selected Pauline (PJ) E. Milligan as the Dana Chair Executive-in-Residence for the 2005-06 academic year.

The chair was established through a gift from the Dana Corporation to strengthen ties between the academic and practicing sides of the area’s business community.

In her capacity as Dana Chair, Milligan is a guest lecturer in the College of Business. She will serve as a mentor to students who are designated as Dana Scholars, and will work with staff and faculty throughout the year.

Milligan is vice president of business development at ACI Construction Company, Inc., in Alvada, Ohio. She is responsible for the development of sales and related marketing materials for the company.

Milligan also worked for Marathon Ashland Petroleum LLC/ Marathon Oil Company from 1992 to 2002. During her time with Marathon, she served in many positions, including managerial positions, coordinator and systems analyst.

A graduate of The University of Toledo with a bachelor of science degree, Milligan is pursuing a master’s degree from Bowling Green State University.

Milligan is very active in the Findlay community, currently serving on the board of directors for the Convention and Visitors Bureau, the board of trustees for the First Presbyterian Church, and is a Literacy and Mentoring Partner (L.A.M.P) volunteer for the Findlay City Schools.

In her spare time, Milligan enjoys golfing, reading and gardening. She and her husband George, a certified professional accountant, reside in Findlay. They have three grown children and two grandchildren.
