Sept. 6, 2005, Findlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay is collecting needed supplies that will be delivered to Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, La. After Hurricane Katrina, part of the LSU campus was converted into a facility set up to care for the elderly and special needs refugees. Classes resumed at LSU today, Tuesday, Sept. 6.
The following items are being collected:
Office supplies including folders, pens, legal pads, markers, pencils, paper and tape
Medical supplies including Ensure and wound care supplies.
Clothing including 100 percent cotton pajamas, robes and undergarments
Bedding, towels, toiletries and water
Packing materials including boxes, packing tape and luggage.
The items can be dropped off between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the University’s Alumni Memorial Union Office of Student Activities and Commuter Student Services.
