Sept. 9, 2005, Findlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay’s Concert and Lecture Series begins its third season Friday, Sept. 23 at 8 p.m. in the Winebrenner Theological Seminary Convocation Center with a performance by the Toledo Opera.

Now in its 46th year, the Toledo Opera is recognized as one of the best regional opera companies in the United States.

Conducted by Chelsea Tipton II, the ensemble will present arias, duets and trios from Mozart’s “The Marriage of Figaro,” and includes selections from “Samson and Delilah,” “Susannah,” “Pagliacci,” “Tales of Hoffman,” “Rigoletto” and “Der Fledermaus.”

Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for senior citizens and $10 for students. Admission for UF students is free, but a ticket is required. Tickets are available by calling the Box Office at 419-434-5335.
