Oct. 19, 2005, Findlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay has named Dee Dee M. Spraw as director of alumni and parent relations, effective Nov. 1, 2005. Ms. Spraw will be responsible for organizing alumni and parent meetings, activities and services, as well as coordinating events in conjunction with other offices related to Homecoming, Family Weekend, Senior Day and others.

Spraw previously served as executive director of career services at The University of Findlay since 2002. Employed at The University of Findlay since 1985, she has held positions as director of career placement, office manager for the National Center of Excellence for Environmental Management, academic recorder in the Office of the Registrar and secretary for the Division of Natural Science.

She earned an associate of arts degree in business administration and a bachelor of arts degree in marketing from The University of Findlay, and she is scheduled to receive a master of arts in education in human resource development from The University of Findlay in May 2006.

Spraw has been active as a member of The University of Findlay’s Alumni Association Board of Governor’s since 2003 and is a member of the university’s United Way Committee. She also is a board member for Hancock Federal Credit Union and Millstream Cooperative Education and is a member and the current president of the Hancock Leadership Alumni Association. She is a graduate of the Hancock Leadership Class of 2002 and served on the Hancock County Task Force on School Violence Committee.
