UF to Hold Senior Forum

Oct. 24, 2005, Findlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay’s Senior Forum, a six-week series of learning experiences for people age 50 and older, will have its final session Wednesday, Oct. 26 in the Alumni Memorial Union.

The program will feature “Wonders of Tibet” presented by Carol Elchert, UF assistant professor of communication, from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m. The lunch session from noon to 1 p.m. is about “Read for Life” by Leslie Vano, director. The afternoon session from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m. will feature “The Art of Russia” by Dr. Diane Kontar, UF assistant professor of art history.

Cost for an individual session is $5. Prices for the complete 18-session program are $65 for individuals or $125 for couples. A buffet lunch is available for an additional $5 per day. A coffee/tea bar is available all day at no charge.
