Oct. 28, 2005, Findlay, Ohio – Thirty-three area companies contributed more than $14,000 to support the University’s 2005-06 Business Affiliates Scholarship Program this year. The Business Affiliates are an organization of Findlay area businesses who provide scholarship support for UF students.

Business Affiliates contributions fund operating scholarships to UF students who either graduated from a Hancock County high school or who are currently employed by a Hancock County business. The scholarship program helps to forge a bond between students and the community, enhancing the opportunity to keep talented young people in the area after graduation.

The businesses, along with the 23 scholarship recipients, were honored during the University’s annual Business Affiliates Scholarship Celebration Breakfast on October 20.
