UF to Hold Senior Forum

Oct. 3, 2005, Findlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay’s Senior Forum, a six-week series of learning experiences for people age 50 and older, will have its next session Wednesday, Oct. 5 in the Alumni Memorial Union.
The program will feature “At the Scene of the Crime” presented by Phil Lucas, UF instructor of criminal justice, from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m. The lunch session from noon to 1 p.m. is about “The Senior Center of the Future” by James Smarkel, center director. The afternoon session from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m. will feature “With the Pandas in China” by UF student Rebecca Wilson.
The forums, consisting of a variety of informative and entertaining sessions, will take place each Wednesday through Oct. 26.
Cost for an individual session is $5. Prices for the complete 18-session program are $65 for individuals or $125 for couples. A buffet lunch is available for an additional $5 per day. A coffee/tea bar is available all day at no charge.
