UF Students to "Deck the Trees" for Christmas

Findlay, Ohio – Mayor Iriti will be the judge for The University of
Findlay’s annual “Deck the Trees” contest Dec. 1, from 11 a.m. to 2
p.m. in the Alumni Memorial Union.
Approximately 60 students from various student groups will show off
their creativity and Christmas spirit by decorating 32 trees during the
contest.
***Photo Opportunity: Mayor Iriti will select which tree will win the “Mayor’s Choice” award from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. ***
This year’s theme is “Home for the Holidays.” Each
participating student group is encouraged to reflect the theme in the
decoration of its tree.
The trees will be on display in the union through Tuesday, Dec. 13. The event is free and open to the public.
