Toys for Tots Drive Being Held
Monday, November 28, 2005
Findlay, Ohio – A Toys for Tots toy drive to benefit underprivileged
children in Hancock County is being held at The University of Findlay
Nov. 28 through Dec. 16.
A public drop box for new, packaged, unwrapped toys will be located in
the Alumni Memorial Union, inside the Frazer Street entrance. Donations
are being accepted Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
This is the second year The University of Findlay has participated in
the Toys for Tots toy drive. Last year, 105 toys were collected
from UF. This year, the goal is 200 toys. This will help the U.S.
Marine Corps Reserves reach their goal of 12,000 toys, which will be
distributed to 2,500 children.
The drive is being organized by the University’s Office of Student
Activities and Commuter Student Services, UF Security and the U.S.
Marine Corps Reserves.
