Equestrian, Pre-Vet, Health Professions Visit Days to Be Held

Findlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay will hold two separate visit
days for potential students interested in a pursing a degree in
equestrian studies, pre-veterinary medicine or the health professions.
The Equestrian, Pre-Veterinary Medicine Visit Day will be held on
Friday, Nov. 18, beginning at 8 a.m. in the Alumni Memorial
Union. More than 400 potential students and their families are
expected at the visit day. The half-day long program includes:
- Faculty-led presentations on the western and English equestrian
programs, the equine business management program and the pre-veterinary
medicine program;
- An information session on the UF’s admissions and financial aid processes; and
- Tours of campus, the Center for Equine and Pre-Veterinary Studies and James L. Child Jr. Equestrian Complex.
The Health Professions Visit Day will be held on Saturday, Nov. 19,
beginning at 8 a.m. in the Alumni Memorial Union. More than 250
potential students and their families are expected to attend. The
half-day long program includes:
- Faculty-led presentations on UF’s health professions programs,
including occupational therapy, physical therapy, health studies,
medical technology, nuclear medicine technology, physician assistant,
pre-medicine, pre-nursing, pre-pharmacy, and strength and conditioning;
- An information session on the UF’s admissions and financial aid processes; and
- Tour of campus and health professions lab and classroom facilities.
