Who: More than 300 graduates from The University of Findlay.
What: Will march out the University’s Griffith Memorial Arch while being applauded by UF faculty, staff and family.
Where: On the front lawn of Old Main, 1000 N. Main St., Findlay, Ohio 45840
When: Saturday, Dec. 10
approximately 3:30 p.m., immediately following the University’s fall
commencement ceremonies, which will be held at 2 p.m. in the Koehler
Fitness and Recreation Complex.
Why: Marching through the
Griffith Memorial Arch is one of the University’s oldest and most
beloved traditions. As freshmen, students walk in through the arch as
they are being welcomed by faculty and staff to symbolize the beginning
of their college experience at UF. Upon graduation, students walk out
through arch while being congratulated by the campus community and
family to symbolize their transition from college to their careers.
