UF Professors Receive Honor

Findlay, Ohio – Eight faculty members from The University of Findlay
have been recognized for their dedication to educational excellence by
“Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.”
The faculty members are:
- Joann Chase, adjunct theatre professor;
- Donald Collins, assistant professor of psychology;
- Dr. Robert Frampton, director of the physical therapy program and associate professor of physical therapy;
- Maria Gamba, assistant professor business;
- Dr. Andrew Kerr, assistant professor of physics;
- Dr. Julie McIntosh, assistant professor of education;
- Dr. Linda Peck, director of pre-veterinary studies and professor of animal science and biology; and
- Jack Taylor, director of bands and professor of music.
The professors were selected based on criteria established by the Who’s Who
Among America’s Teachers Association. According to the criteria,
faculty members can only be nominated by students who have been
previously listed in a “Who’s Who” publication.
Awardees must be in touch with current events of the educational world,
yet caring to their surroundings, with important criteria based around
the professors’ attitudes and opinions. The award is intended to
support all teachers by recognizing their efforts towards their
students, and show the appreciation students have for them.
