Toledo Symphony to Perform Jan. 27

Findlay, Ohio - The Toledo Symphony Orchestra will present a concert
Friday, Jan. 27 at 8 p.m. in the Winebrenner Seminary Auditorium,
adjacent to The University of Findlay campus.
The concert is part of the University’s Concert & Lecture Series.
Conducted by Chelsea Tipton II, the orchestra will perform Piotr Ilyich
Tchaikovsky’s “Symphony No. 2 in C Minor, Op. 17.” The program will
also include “Rhapsody in Blue” by George Gershwin and “Kaintuck” by
William Grant Still.
Greg Kostraba, classical music director and senior radio host for WGTE
FM 91 and concert pianist, will be the guest pianist for the
performance.
Now in its 62nd season, the Toledo Symphony Orchestra has recently
received renewal of a major grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation
of New York for the quality of its music.
Tickets for the concert are $25 for adults, $20 for senior citizens and
$10 for students. Admission for UF students is free, but a ticket is
