Faculty Recognized for Service

Findlay, Ohio – Five faculty members at The University of Findlay have
been honored for their dedication to UF during their 20 years of
service.
The honorees are:
Douglas M. Asbury, director of the Accounting Program and assistant
professor of business. Asbury holds an M.B.A. from Xavier University
and a bachelor of arts degree from Urbana University.
Jack E. Corle, Jr., co-director of art, associate professor of art.
Corle holds a master of fine arts degree and a bachelor of fine arts
degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Marianna L. Hofer,
associate professor of English. Hofer holds a master
of art degree from Miami University, a master of fine art degree in
poetry from Bowling Green State University and a bachelor of arts
degree from
Kent State University.
Dr. Marie A. Louden-Hanes, dean of the College of Liberal Arts.
Louden-Hanes holds a doctoral degree from Bowling Green State
University, a master of arts degree and a bachelor of fine arts degree
from Bowling Green State University. She also has an associate’s degree
in fine arts from Sullins College in Bristol, Va.
Hedayatollah (Heda) Samimi, assistant professor computer science.
Samimi holds a master of science degree from Central Michigan
University and a bachelor of science degree from Southwestern Oklahoma
State.
