PT Program Presents at National Conference

Findlay, Ohio - Thirteen students, faculty and recent graduates of the
University’s Physical Therapy Program recently gave a number of
presentations at the American Physical Therapy Association’s annual
Combined Sections Meeting in San Diego, Ca., Feb. 1 - 5.
Jennifer Bostelman and Sara Christman, recent graduates of the program,
presented a platform sponsored by the Clinical Electrophysiology
Section Wound Care Special Interest Group.
Three current graduate students, Robin Altenburger, Josh Baker and Erin
Schroeder, presented posters related to their graduate research
studies.
Mark Carroll, assistant professor of physical therapy, and Dr. Robert
Frampton, director of the Physical Therapy Program, together with a
colleague from Bowling Green State University, conducted a presentation
for the Section on Education and the Section on Health Policy and
Administration.
Six other members of the physical therapy faculty, Dr. Cindy Bouillon,
Jenna Encheff, Julie Toney, Sharon Walsh, Dr. Scott Van Zant and Dr.
Kerry Volansky, presented posters related to their ongoing research
interests.
According to Frampton, several other physical therapy graduate
students have had their research posters accepted to the American
College of Sports Medicine's annual conference in June 2006 in Denver,
Colo.
“Everyone did a great job representing the Physical Therapy Program and
the University,” reflected Frampton. “Congratulations to all.”
