Findlay, Ohio – Original artwork by 15 students at The University of Findlay will be on display Feb. 13 – March 17 in the Dudley and Mary Marks Lea Gallery in UF’s Virginia B. Gardener Fine Arts Pavilion.  The students’ work is part of the 2006 Senior Art Exhibition.

A reception to honor the seniors’ work will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12 in the Fine Arts Pavilion.

The exhibition represents a culmination of creativity and work that has been produced by the students during their years of study at The University of Findlay. Many of pieces in the exhibition are for sale, and include watercolor, pottery, photography, sculpture, digital design and oil paintings.

The students are:

• Emily Franks, College of Education from Mt. Blanchard, Ohio;
• Charles Ethan Gillespie, senior studio art major from Findlay, Ohio;
• Michael Hatfield, senior studio art major from Fostoria, Ohio;
• Amber Kahler, senior multi-age visual arts education major from Tiffin, Ohio;
• Sara Kear, senior fine arts major from Mt. Blanchard, Ohio;
• Justin Little, senior graphic communication major from Dover, Ohio;
• Danielle Luikart, multi-age visual arts education major from LaRue, Ohio;
• Carl Miller, senior art major from Upper Sandusky, Ohio;
• Julie Mills, senior multi-age visual arts education major from North Canton, Ohio;
• Ryan Pheneger, senior multi-age visual arts education major from Lima, Ohio;
• Drew Romigh, senior multi-age visual arts education major from Beloit, Ohio;
• Elaine Shell, senior graphic communication major from New Washington, Ohio;
• Sarah Theil, senior studio art major from Findlay, Ohio; and
• Rachel Walter, senior studio art and psychology major from Dunkirk, Ohio.

The exhibition is free and open to the public. The gallery hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
