UF Alumnus to Present ‘Leadership Expectations for New Managers’

Findlay, Ohio – Scott Erikson, global project manager for Procter &
Gamble’s Iams Company and a 2003 UF alumnus, will present “Leadership
Expectations for New Managers” at noon Wednesday, March 15, in The
University of Findlay’s Alumni Memorial Union Endly Room.
His presentation will be geared toward helping new managers in all
types of industries develop the leadership skills needed to be
effective.
In his current position, Erikson is responsible for establishing and
delivering the standard capacity to demand ratio for the company, and
developing short- and long-term strategies including site selection and
expansions of new and existing plants.
Prior to his work at Procter & Gamble, Erikson served as a plant
manager for three different plants owned by Ramsey SIAS Inc., which is
a supplier of “fruit preparations” to the dairy industry. In
addition, he has served in several positions for Ocean Spray
Cranberries Inc., including production supervisor, quality assurance
manager and warehouse manager.
He graduated from UF in 2003 with a master’s degree in business
administration and also holds a bachelor’s degree in business
management from Olivet Nazarene University, Bourbonnais, Ill.
