Phi Sigma Sigma to “Rock” ‘Til the Broad Daylight

Findlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay’s sorority Phi Sigma Sigma
will be hosting a “Rock-A-Thon” from 7 p.m. Saturday, March 25, to 7
a.m. Sunday, March 26, in the Alumni Memorial Union Multipurpose Room.
The event is a fundraiser for the National Kidney Foundation.
The 30 sorority sisters will take turns rocking in 10 rocking chairs,
continuously for 12 hours. Donations will be accepted at the event.
“Our goal is to raise awareness about the National Kidney Foundation,”
says Jenna Kazlausky, Phi Sigma Sigma’s public relations
representative. “We want to help and give the community an opportunity
to do the same.”
Along with donations from the UF campus, the event is being also being
supported by local businesses Lone Star, Cracker Barrel and Mobile
Music D.J.’s through supplies and entertainment.
The Rock-A-Thon will include food, raffles and other fun activities for spectators to enjoy.
