UF Welcomes Families and Sibs For Weekend Festivities

Findlay, Ohio – Giant inflatables, a regional competition at the Child
Equestrian Complex and a performance by comedian John P. Hopkins
highlight this weekend’s Sibs and Kids and Family Weekend festivities
at The University of Findlay. The events will be held March
31-April 1.
The festivities are open to all relatives of UF students.
The events for this weekend include:
Friday, March 31:
- Parents are invited to attend their son’s or daughter’s classes throughout the day.
- Open Gym/Swim in Croy Gymnasium
Saturday, April 1:
- Visitors are invited to attend breakfast at 9 a.m. in Henderson
Dining Hall and participate in tours of the UF campus facilities from
10 to 11:30 a.m.
- The English Equestrian Team will host an Intercollegiate Horse
Show Association (IHSA) regional competition beginning 8 a.m. at the
Child Equestrian Complex.
- Story Time and Tour of Mazza Museum from 10 a.m. to noon.
- The western equestrian team will host an IHSA regional show at
the south campus beginning at 12:30 p.m. Prior to the start of the
show, the parents of western equestrian students will be recognized.
- Inflatable, carnival games, caricature artists and more from 2 to 8 p.m. in the Koehler Fitness and Recreation Complex.
- Magician/comedian/ventriloquist John P. Hopkins at 8:30 p.m. in the Alumni Memorial Union Multipurpose Room.
