UF SIFE Team Named Regional Champion

Findlay, Ohio - The University of Findlay’s Students in Free Enterprise
(SIFE) Team won the title of USA SIFE Regional Champion at a
competition held in Chicago, Ill., last week.
The team will go on to compete at the USA National Exposition in Kansas
City, Mo., May 21-23. At that event, approximately 180 teams from
across the nation also will compete.
SIFE is a non-profit organization active on more than 1,600 college and university campuses in 40 countries.
Members of the UF competition team were Melanie Bieber, a sophomore
marketing and business management major; Pete Dalpiaz, a sophomore law
and the liberal arts and finance major; Karl Forsthoefel, a senior
economics major; Carla Groves, a junior marketing and finance major;
Shannon Lussier, a freshman accounting major; and Erica Rife, a junior
business management and business administration major.
Greg Arburn, Ph.D., assistant professor of economics and finance, is the SIFE adviser.
