Alpha Sigma Phi Named Champion of UF’s Greek Week

Alpha Sigma Phi was named the winner of The University of Findlay’s
Greek Week, a week of competitive events that determines the recipients
of traditional honors and awards.
Alpha Sigma Phi was declared the winner of this year’s Greek Week, held
April 18-21, at the Honors and Awards ceremony on Friday, April 21.
Other awards included Chapter of the Year, presented to Phi Sigma
Sigma, and Most Improved Chapter, awarded to Sigma Kappa.
UF Greek student winners included Theta Chi’s Greg Dunlap as Male of
the Year and Sigma Kappa’s Jenna Wasserman as Female of the Year.
Greek Week events consisted of a lip sync contest, chariot and canoe
races, egg tosses, tug-o-war, quiz bowl and a pudding-eating contest.
Chapter members also held a scavenger hunt and games of softball and
flag football.
The Greek Olympics concluded the week, with shot put, discus, 300- and 900-meter runs and broomball competitions.
