Bach’s Lunch Series at UF Begins Sept. 15

The 2006-2007 Bach’s Lunch Series at The University of Findlay begins
Friday, Sept. 15, at noon in the Alumni Memorial Union with a
performance by The Diamonds in the Rough, a four-piece acoustic
ensemble featuring guitar, banjo, mandolin, slide guitar and harmonica.
The group will perform bluegrass instrumentals, four-part harmony
vocalization and “finger-pickin’” guitar.
Future performances in the Bach’s Lunch Series
include the Bluffton Faculty Ensemble on Friday, Oct. 13; The Hava Duo
on Friday, Nov. 10; Tu-Ba Fours Quartet on Friday, Dec. 8; John
Cleveland on Friday, Feb. 9; and Pantasia on Friday, March 16.
All Bach’s Lunch Series performances are free and
open to the public. Each will be held at noon in the Alumni Memorial
Union multi-purpose room. The exception is the Dec. 8 performance,
which will be held in the Alumni Memorial Union atrium.
