UF to Host Market on the Mall Aug. 29

Forty-five local businesses will participate in The University of
Findlay’s fifth annual Market on the Mall, Tuesday, Aug. 29, from 10
a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Cory Street Mall in the center of campus. The
rain site is the Alumni Memorial Union.
During the event, area businesses will sponsor raffles and give-a-ways,
pass out coupons and provide free samples of products to the University
community.
Businesses participating are diverse, including
banks, credit unions, car dealerships, eateries, coffee houses, large
and small retailers, car rental agencies, specialized workout
facilities, gyms, travel agencies and visitor’s bureaus.
UF holds a no-solicitation policy. “Market on
the Mall” is the one day during the academic year where local
for-profit businesses are invited to visit the UF campus and meet and
greet new, returning and international students and faculty and
staff.
