UF Named Best Midwestern College
Friday, August 25, 2006
The University of Findlay has been named as one of Princeton Review’s Best Midwestern Colleges for 2007.
The University is one of 163 schools receiving the
Best in the Midwest designation. The schools selected uphold the
standards of Princeton Review’s Best Midwestern College distinction and
provide students with an overall good quality education and campus
experience. Schools were reviewed based on anonymous student surveys,
producing an opinion-driven profile for each college.
Highlighted for its unique academic offerings and
hands-on experiences in the pre-veterinary and equestrian programs, UF
was praised for its learning-by-doing approach to students’ college
educations. The University was also given high marks for the variety of
programs offered, knowledgeable faculty and small class sizes.
“The University of Findlay is large enough to
challenge but small enough to care,” according to one student who
completed the online survey.
