UF's Skrabec Named to Kanco Board of Directors

Quentin R. Skrabec Jr., Ph.D., associate professor of business at The
University of Findlay, was elected to the board of directors at Kanco,
a Toledo-based manufacturer and importer of automotive parts.
Skrabec was elected to the board of directors because of his extensive
background in operations management and international manufacturing. He
has written more than 50 papers on management systems, organization
design and total quality management; he has also authored several books
on business organization and principles. Skrabec’s work has earned him
numerous awards and recognition.
An expert in his field, Skrabec is a certified quality engineer,
certified quality auditor, ISO and TS lead auditor, former Baldridge
Award judge and a six sigma black belt. He has spoken at more than 30
national conferences on management.
He earned his doctorate in manufacturing management from the University
of Toledo. He holds master of science, master of business
administration and bachelor of science degrees from Robert Morris
College, as well as a master’s in metallurgical engineering from Ohio
State University and a bachelor’s in material engineering from the
University of Michigan. He is currently working on a doctorate in
Biblical studies.
