Nationally Recognized Illusionist to Perform on UF Campus

Mike Super holding up cardsAward-winning magician and illusionist Mike Super will perform at 8 p.m. Oct. 6 in the Winebrenner Theological Seminary as part of The University of Findlay’s Homecoming 2006 activities.

Talented and versatile, Super has been creating the impossible since he was 6 years old. Magic has been his life’s passion and obsession. Super is a member of both the International Brotherhood of Magicians and the Society of American Magicians. He has entertained thousands of people, including many celebrities.

Super has won numerous national awards, including America’s 2003 Entertainer of the Year, 2003 Best Novelty Entertainer of the Year, 2003 Best Male Entertainer of the Year, 2002 Performing Arts Entertainer of the Year and 2001 Novelty/Live Entertainer of the Year.

Mike Super with floating rose Audience members will experience digital music, side-splitting comedy, high-tech lighting and unbelievable magic and illusion. In past performances, Super has made an audience member levitate off the ground, made snow from his bare hands and folded a spectator so small that the person fit into a Japanese shoebox.

General admission tickets can be purchased for $5 from the UF box office by calling 419-434-5335. The box office is open from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Doors of the
Winebrenner Theological Seminary Convocation Center will open at 7 p.m. the night of the show. There is no reserved seating.
