UF to Induct Psi Chi Charter Members

The University of Findlay’s chapter of the Psi Chi National Honorary
Society will induct its charter members at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 30,
in the Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion.
Alfred Cohoe, Ph.D., professor of psychology at Ohio
Northern University, will serve as installation officer for the
induction ceremony. UF faculty advisers for the group are John Malacos,
Ph.D., associate professor of psychology, and Milton Peters, Ph.D.,
professor of psychology.
Psi Chi was founded in 1929 during the Ninth
International Congress of Psychology held at Yale University. Its
purpose is to encourage, stimulate and maintain excellence in
scholarship and to advance the science of psychology. There are more
than 1,000 Psi Chi chapters at colleges and universities throughout the
United States and Canada.
