Mazza Holiday Gift Shop Opens Nov. 6

The Mazza Holiday Gift Shop will open Monday, Nov. 6, and will feature
many new items as well as more than 500 children’s book titles, toys
and a variety of other book-related items.
At 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, the Mazza Museum will
present a holiday special featuring Brian Wildsmith, a world-renowned
children’s illustrator. The holiday special will feature a presentation
by Brian Wildsmith followed by a book and gift sale and an autograph
session. This presentation is open to the public and has an admission
fee of $5.
Brian Wildsmith has earned a worldwide reputation as one of the
greatest living children’s book artists. He received the Kate Greenaway
Award for “Brian Wildsmith’s ABC” in 1963. Since then, he has created
dozens of other books in many different languages.
Gift shop hours for the month of November are Nov.
6-10, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Nov. 11-12, 1 - 4 p.m.; Nov. 13-17, 11 a.m. - 6
p.m.; and Nov. 19, 1 - 4 p.m.
The Mazza Museum and gift shop is located on The
University of Findlay campus in the Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion.
