New UF Athletics Website Goes Live

At 9 a.m. Oct. 26, The University of Findlay athletics department
revealed its newly designed website, found at
http://athletics.findlay.edu.
Fans will notice a totally different, improved and
updated site that was designed to be more appealing to users. The old
site had been in use since 2000.
“Technology has improved over the years, and we
needed to improve the site to keep up with the technology,” said David
Buck II, director of sports information, who made the decision to
redesign the website this summer after talking with many website users.
All of the work for the new website was done
internally by The University’s web and media technology department and
programming services.
In 2007, fans can look forward to additional website
improvements including video of athletic events and live scoring. And,
according to Buck, “there’s a lot more that we can do with the site in
the future.”
