Heather Meredith of Zanesville, Ohio, a graduate student in the weekend occupational therapy program at The University of Findlay, was awarded the Occupational Therapy Student of the Year award from the Ohio Occupational Therapy Association (OOTA) at its 2006 annual conference in Cincinnati.

Meredith was nominated for the award by Thomas Dillon, Ed.D., dean of graduate and professional studies and associate professor of occupational therapy.

“Heather has shown excellent leadership as part of the UF Student Occupational Therapy Association. Her efforts to obtain voting rights for students in the OOTA have been exceptionally outstanding,” said Dillon.
