Tuesday, October 10, 2006
| Hohenbrink will be the first speaker in the Religious Studies Lecture Series.
| The University of Findlay’s Religious Studies Lecture Series will begin
at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, in Ritz Auditorium with featured speaker
Father Michael Hohenbrink of Saint Michael the Archangel Parish in
Findlay.
During the month-long series, four religious leaders

that are similar with the other faiths in the series; and the
identification and exploration of global issues that are of critical
concern to the faith he represents.
The purpose of the series is to provide an enhanced
learning environment for both religious studies students and the larger
community.

Christianity. He is a priest of the Diocese of Toledo and an alumnus of
Saint Meinrad School of Theology, Ind., from which he received his
bachelor of arts degree and master of divinity degree. Hohenbrink also

School in Fremont, Ohio; and pastor of Saint Catherine of Siena Parish
in Toledo, Ohio. Hohenbrink was appointed pastor of Saint Michael the
Archangel Parish in Findlay in 2000 and was recently appointed the dean
of the Carey Deanery.
Future speakers include Rabbi Samuel Weinstein on
