Miller to Speak in UF’s Religious Studies Lecture Series

Pastor William Miller, UF director of campus ministries in partnership with College First Church of God in Findlay, will be the third speaker in The University of Findlay’s Religious Studies Lecture Series at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, in Ritz Auditorium, located in Old Main on the Findlay campus. This event is free and open to the public.

Miller will discuss Protestant Christianity. The first two speakers in the series, Father Michael Hohenbrink and Rabbi Samuel Weinstein, discussed Catholicism and Judaism.

The purpose of the series is to provide an enhanced learning environment for both religious studies students and the larger community.

Miller holds a master of divinity degree from Winebrenner Seminary and a bachelor of science degree in technology management from UF. He has held numerous positions with the Churches of God Ohio Conference and currently sits on the church planting commission of the Great Lakes region.

Miller resides in Findlay with his wife, Beth, and three sons.

The final speaker in the series will be Imam Farooq S. Abo-Elzahab, imam and director of The Islamic Center of Greater Toledo, Nov. 7.
