The University of Findlay to Present Christmas Concert Dec. 3

The University of Findlay Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble will join
forces to present a holiday concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, in
Winebrenner Theological Seminary.
“Christmas in the Heartland” will feature some of America’s most
popular holiday songs such as “White Christmas,” “Let it Snow” and
“Little Drummer Boy.”
Marie Louden Hanes, Ph.D., dean of undergraduate education, will
narrate the program. Nancy Glick, a member of the UF music faculty,
will provide harp interludes. Violinist Kristen Twedt, senior pre-vet
major, will be the featured student soloist.
Jack Taylor, director of bands and professor of music, will conduct the concert.
Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and students, and
free to University faculty, staff and students. Tickets may be
purchased at the door, but seating is limited. To reserve tickets in
