The Tu-ba Fours Quartet to Perform at UF’s Bach’s Lunch Friday

The Tu-ba Fours Quartet, an ensemble of four tubas, will perform at
noon Friday, Dec. 8, in the Alumni Memorial Union at The University of
Findlay.
With two bass tubas and two tenor tubas, also known as euphoniums, the
Tu-ba Fours Quartet will perform a variety of music including
classical, sacred, folk songs, patriotic tunes and oldies. They also will
perform a large selection of Christmas music.
The founder and musical arranger for the group is Dale Schubert, tuba,
retired director of bands from Napoleon City Schools. Other members
include Scott Rogers, euphonium; Jim George, euphonium; and Kari
Rosania, tuba.
Future performances in the Bach’s Lunch Series include John Cleveland
on Friday, Feb. 9, 2007; and Pantasia on Friday, March 16, 2007.
All of the Bach’s Lunch Series performances are held at noon, and
performances in 2007 will be in the Alumni Memorial Union multi-purpose
room. They are free and open to the public.
