Four Religious Speakers Featured on UF TV

UF TV Channel 20 will air The University of Findlay’s Religious Studies Lecture Series this month. The series, taped in October, features four religious leaders from different faith traditions who will address three topics including the distinct aspects and characteristics of the faith or religion he represents; the aspects and characteristics of his faith or religion that are similar with the other faiths in the series; and the identification and exploration of global issues that are of critical concern to the faith he represents.
Show times and dates are as follows:
• Father Michael Hohenbrink of Saint Michael the Archangel Parish in Findlay – 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18
• Rabbi Samuel Weinstein, senior rabbi of The Temple for the congregation Shomer Emunim in Sylvania, Ohio – 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19
• Pastor William Miller, director of campus ministries for College First Church of God in Findlay – 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20
• Imam Farooq S. Abo-Elzahab, imam and director of The Islamic Center of Greater Toledo – 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21
In addition, all four speakers will be aired back-to-back immediately following the noon showing of Findlay Edition, a student-produced weekly news show, Dec. 15-17 and Dec. 22-24.
