Mazza Museum to Host Newbery Winner

The University of Findlay’s Mazza Museum will host 2005 Newbery winner Lynne Rae Perkins at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25 in the Virginia B. Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion. Her talk is part of the Helen Reimund Author/Artist Series.
As an author and artist, Perkins has written and illustrated several books, including her most recent book, “Criss Cross,” a 2005 Newbery winner. She is also the author of several other novels, including “Snow Music,” a Boston Globe-Horn Book Honor Book and a Book Sense Top Ten Pick, “Home Lovely,” “The Broken Cat” and “All Alone in the Universe.”
Perkins earned her bachelor of arts degree at The Pennsylvania State University and her master of arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
