Oilers Men’s Basketball Games to be Aired on UF-TV Channel 20

If you missed the Oilers men’s basketball games leading up to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) regional competitions, you can still get caught up on tournament play. The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) tournament games that were played in Findlay will be aired on UF-TV channel 20 through Friday.Air times are as follows: - 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 7 – Findlay vs. Ashland, GLIAC quarterfinal
- 8 p.m. Thursday, March 8 – Findlay vs. Mercyhurst, GLIAC semifinal
- 8 p.m. Friday, March 9 – Findlay vs. Grand Valley State, GLIAC championship
The men’s basketball team claimed the top seed in the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Region on Sunday, March 4. As the No. 1 seed, the Oilers will host the first three rounds of the NCAA Division II Tournament in Croy Gymnasium on March 10, 11 and 13. The winner of the regional at Findlay will then travel to Springfield, Mass., for the Elite Eight and Final Four. Games begin at noon Saturday: - Noon Saturday - Quincy vs. Grand Valley State
- 2:30 p.m. Saturday - Rockhurst vs. Southern Indiana
- 6 p.m. Saturday - Wisconsin-Parkside vs. Findlay
- 8:30 p.m. Saturday - Drury vs. Northern Kentucky
Tournament play continues on Sunday and concludes Tuesday. Tickets for the event are on sale from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays in the UF athletic office, located on the second floor of the Koehler Fitness and Recreation Complex, at a cost of $10 reserved; $8 general admission; and $4 students (ages 6-17).
