The University of Findlay’s Wind Ensemble will travel to California March 4-10 to perform at Disney’s California Adventure in Anaheim and at a special reception for UF alumni in San Diego.

While on tour, the ensemble will perform selections including “Wonderful World of Disney,” “The Wizard of Oz,” “Highlights from Mary Poppins,” music from the movie “Pocahontas,” and other film-themed pieces. The 42-member group is chosen through an audition process.

The Wind Ensemble is directed by Jack M. Taylor, professor of music and director of bands. For specific performance information, contact Taylor at 419-434-4573.

Dee Dee Spraw, director of alumni and parent relations, will travel with the ensemble to meet and greet fellow Oilers. Additional alumni gatherings are planned in Pine Needles, N.C., Atlanta, Ga., and Akron and Cleveland, Ohio.
