The University of Findlay’s spring juried student art show will open with a reception at 3 p.m. Monday, April 2, in the Dudley and Mary Marks Lea Gallery in the Virginia B. Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion.

At 3:30 p.m., awards will be given for the top entries, which were judged by UF faculty and Dan Brown, visiting judge and art teacher at Arcadia Local Schools.

“As an art instructor, I always look forward to the opportunity to view new and innovative works of art. The art selected for this show was definitely that and more,” said Brown. “I found all of the pieces of work to be of high quality and well grounded in the fundamentals of the art process.”
