 Dwight Miller ’73
COB Visiting Executive

Dwight Miller, a 1973 graduate of The University of Findlay, will present a public lecture titled “Success Traits of the Entrepreneur” at 12:30 p.m. Monday, March 12, in the Winebrenner Theological Seminary. This event is free and open to the community.

He has been invited to campus as the Spring 2007 College of Business Visiting Executive.

Miller owns seven McDonald’s franchises in Champaign, Ill., and he is the majority owner of Triple T Trucking Co., which supplies trucks exclusively for DHL package services.

Using his accounting and business background, Miller and his wife, Alice, opened four McDonald’s restaurants in St. Charles, Mo., in 1997. They sold those restaurants three years later in order to purchase their current restaurant group in the Champaign-Urbana, Ill., area.

As an active community member, Miller served as the chairman of the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce in 2003-04 and has served on the board of the local YMCA and the Cunningham Children’s Home Foundation. Currently, he serves on the board of directors for Strategic Capital Bank, a position he has held since 2004.
