UF to host Ohio Odonata Society Annual State Conference

The University of Findlay will host the Ohio Odonata Society Annual State Conference from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 24, in Martin Lecture Hall in the Brewer Science Building. The conference is open to anyone that wishes to attend.
The title of the conference is “Dragonflies, Damselflies and Water Quality.” Topics to be discussed include “Ohio Bogs and Fens” among others. Among the presenters will be The University of Findlay’s Gwynne Rife, Ph.D., professor of biology, who will be presenting “Biomonitoring Macroinvertebrates With an Eye on Odonates.”
There will be a continental breakfast from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Lunch will be served in the Endly Room in the Alumni Memorial Union from noon to 12:30 p.m. It will consist of soup, salad and a sandwich buffet with a vegetarian option available.
