UF to Hold Senior Forum April 18
Wednesday, April 11, 2007

The University of Findlay’s Senior Forum, a six-week series of learning experiences for people age 50 and older, will have its next session Wednesday, April 18, in the Alumni Memorial Union.

The program will feature “The Significance of UF’s 125th” presented by
C. Richard Beckett, D.V.M., chairman of the UF board of trustees; Edwin Heminger, Ph.D., UF trustee emeritus; James Houdeshell, P.E.D., UF special assistant to the president and development officer; and Marie Louden-Hanes, Ph.D., UF dean of undergraduate education, from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m.

The lunch session from noon to 1 p.m. is “Lunch at the Senior Center,” planned by John Urbanski, director of the Senior Center and former owner of a Findlay catering business.

The afternoon session from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m. will be “All about POP (?) Culture” presented by Alec Reinhardt.

The forums, consisting of a variety of informative and interesting sessions, will take place each Wednesday through May 9.

The cost per session is $5. A complimentary coffee and tea bar is available all day.
