BarOn EQ-i and EQ-360 Certification Offered at UF

The University of Findlay, in partnership with Best People Solutions and Hickory Farms Inc., will host a reduced-tuition BarOn EQ-i/EQ-360 certification session June 14 and 15 on the University campus, 1000 N. Main St., Findlay. The sessions are designed for professionals in human resources, employee training and development, organizational development, leadership training, coaching, psychology, counseling and social work.
The two-day event features certification in the use of the BarOn EQ-i, the first scientifically developed and validated measure of emotional intelligence. The instrument has been used by more than one million individuals worldwide for selection, recruitment, professional development, performance enhancement, team building and leadership development.
Special topics include “The New World of Work – Why EI Matters More Than Ever,” “Using Group Reports,” “Leadership Development,” and “EI and Sales,” among others.
Leading expert Rich Handley, D.B.A., will lead the session. President and founder of EQ University, Handley is a pioneer in bringing emotional intelligence to the workplace and in corporate applications of emotional intelligence. He has worked extensively with Fortune 500 firms worldwide in areas such as employee selection, organizational and leadership development, employee development and sales training.
Discounted tuition for the combined programs is $2,300. Regular tuition for EQ-i certification is $1,800; regular tuition for EQ-360 certification is $550; and regular tuition for EQ coaching program is $1,195. Participants in this special two-day session realize a savings of $1,245.
