UF to Hold Senior Forum May 2

The University of Findlay’s Senior Forum, a six-week series of learning experiences for people age 50 and older, will have its next session Wednesday, May 2, in the Alumni Memorial Union.

The program will feature “First Responders” presented by Randy Van Dyne, UF assistant vice president and executive director of the School of Environmental and Emergency Management (SEEM), from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m.

The lunch session from noon to 1 p.m. is “Great Decisions: Middle East” presented by Marc Simon, chair of the political science department at Bowling Green State University.

The afternoon session from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m. will be “Mazza: New and Old” presented by Ben Sapp, UF deputy director of the Mazza Museum and instructor in the College of Education. A tour of the Mazza Museum will be included with the session.

The final forum, which consists of a variety of informative and interesting sessions, will take place Wednesday, May 9.

The cost per session is $5. A buffet lunch is available for an additional $5 per day. A complimentary coffee and tea bar is available all day.
