Fifth Annual UF Psychology Conference to be Held April 11

The fifth annual Psychology Conference will be held at The University of Findlay from 8:30 a.m. until noon Wednesday, April 11, in the Alumni Memorial Union Endly Room.
Student registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast. Opening remarks will be given at 9 a.m. by John Malacos, Ph.D., chair of the psychology department; Dennis Stevens, Ph.D., dean of the College of Liberal Arts; and John Leach, Ph.D., assistant professor of psychology.
The keynote address will be given by Michael Zickar, Ph.D., associate professor and director of the graduate program in industrial organizational psychology at Bowling Green State University. A question-and-answer session will follow Zickar’s presentation.
At 10:15 a.m., the Psi Chi induction ceremony will take place, welcoming new members into the national psychology honor society.
Students’ presentations about experimental psychology will begin at 10:30 a.m., and Malacos will present “The History of UF’s Psychology Department” at 11:15 a.m.
