The University of Findlay - Gupta Receives Teaching Excellence Award

Shiv K. Gupta, D.B.A., professor of marketing and economics, was awarded the 2007 Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) teaching excellence award for the Great Lakes Region 4.

Gupta will receive a medal and monetary award at the national conference meeting of the ACBSP to be held in June in Orlando, Fla.

Being selected as the regional winner also will qualify Gupta as one of 16 candidates for the international teaching excellence award, which will be presented at the conference in June.

The University of Findlay is also home to the 2006 Region 4 award recipient, Nabarun Ghose, D.B.A., professor of marketing and business.

ACBSP is a national association, which supports, celebrates and rewards teaching excellence, encouraging involved institutions to balance teaching and research. Co-sponsored by Wal-Mart, the award recognizes excellence in teaching at a baccalaureate level.
