UF to Hold Senior Forum May 9

The University of Findlay’s Senior Forum, a six-week series of learning experiences for people age 50 and older, will have its last session Wednesday, May 9, in the Alumni Memorial Union.
The program will feature “Precedents of Christianity” presented by Beth Marshall, a Findlay resident who has done some interesting research into aspects of other religions that can be related to Christianity, from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m.
The lunch session from noon to 1 p.m. is “Great Decisions: Climate Change” presented by Don Scherer, professor emeritus in applied philosophy at Bowling Green State University.
The afternoon session from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m. will be “Music in the Afternoon” performed by Wendene Shoupe, Findlay pianist and teacher, and Barbara Kondalski, a mezzo-soprano from Toledo, Ohio.
The cost per session is $5. A buffet lunch is available for an additional $5 per day. A complimentary coffee and tea bar is available all day.
