The University of Findlay has named Alice Glover Anderson, Ed.D., as the new dean of the College of Education.

Prior to coming to UF, Anderson served as associate dean of the College of Education and Human Development and founding director of the School of Teacher Education and Leadership at Radford University, Va., where she was a member of the faculty for 15 years. She chaired the Department of Special Education for three years and the Department of Educational Studies for two years, and she was the top grant winner at the University.

“The faculty members in the College of Education genuinely care about the education of our children,” said Anderson. “We will renew our vision and set high expectations as we prepare undergraduates and graduates to respond to challenges in our field as they teach, lead and serve across the nation.”

Anderson holds a bachelor of arts degree in Spanish from James Madison University in Virginia and a master of science degree in special education, with a minor in psychology, from Radford. She earned a doctorate in vocational and technical education for special needs populations from Virginia Tech.
