Monday, July 30, 2007

Jim Houdeshell, P.E.D., special assistant to the president and development officer, will be the featured speaker at the Hancock Historical Museum’s Brown Bag Lunch Lecture at noon Aug. 2.

The topic of Houdeshell’s talk will be “Celebrating the Past, Embracing the Future: The 125th Anniversary of The University of Findlay, Athletics and Alumni.” The topic coincides with the current museum exhibit and is the third in a series of three in honor of UF’s anniversary celebration.

The exhibit will be on display through Homecoming weekend in October.
Houdeshell has been part of campus for more than 55 years as a student, basketball coach, dean of men, athletic director, professor, director of the physical education department and his current positions.

A brown bag lunch will be available beginning at 11:30 a.m. from the Main Street Deli for $5.50 on a first-come, first-serve basis. Attendees also may bring their own lunches.

Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for senior citizens. Museum members and youth under the age of 16 receive free admission.
