The University of Findlay welcomes students back to campus beginning Aug. 22 with new students checking in. Approximately 800 new undergraduate students are expected. Returning students will arrive Aug. 25-26, and classes will begin Aug. 27.

New students, as well as faculty, staff and volunteers, will participate in service projects within the community Aug. 25. Volunteers will contribute their time to help area organizations paint, organize, clean and complete a variety of other activities.

Fall sports teams, cheerleaders, resident directors and assistants and band members returned to UF beginning Aug. 1 to prepare for a busy fall semester of activities.

Approximately 1,300 students are expected to live on campus while an equal number of students are expected to live off campus in the Findlay area.

Much work has been done to prepare campus for students, faculty, and staff. Residence halls, academic buildings and both the English and western farm have received updates and renovations. In addition, students will have access to the new 9,000-square-foot addition to the Mazza Museum, as well as to new $450,000 science laboratories.
